How to pack comforters for moving
Fold, roll, or skip the vacuum bag. The fastest way to fit a bulky comforter in one 24-gallon bag.
A comforter is mostly air. The bag is 27 inches long, 14 inches wide, and 15 inches tall, so the trick is getting the air out without a vacuum sealer.
Roll, don't stuff
- Unzip both pulls so the top opens flat.
- Fold the comforter in thirds along the length until it is about as wide as the bag.
- Roll from the foot, kneeling on the roll as you go.
- Set it in the bag. Pillow shams can sit on top if there is room.
- Zip, then write the bedroom on the tag card.
